NOASTe NOABeR

Sparrows live in groups and prefer to build their nests close together. Inspired by this way of life, Frederik Roijé designed Noaste Noaber birdhouses for nesting and sheltering side by side. 

Noaste Noaber is the Twente dialect term for “next-door neighbor.” Growing up in Twente, Frederik saw how wonderful it is for neighbors to be there for one another, through good times and bad.

Noaste Noaber is made out of corten steel, providing the design with a unique look and function. As the material corrodes, a sustainable protective layer is formed.

Two wooden inserts are placed inside the corten steel housing, providing a comfortable space for birds to build their nests. The wooden inserts are made of weather-resistant, certified plywood and can be easily removed for convenient cleaning and maintenance.

Noaste Noaber is a modern birdhouse with an architectural twist. Available in both a standing and hanging version, there is a suitable design for every outdoor space.

Easy to assemble. Locally made in the Netherlands. Supplied rust-free; rust develops after the first rainfall.
